Re: Keep your chin up !
I hope you are all doing as well as I am. I don't know anybody infected. My job hasn't skipped a beat. My wife doesn't go shopping! We paid off the note on her truck, so we own it free and clear. I found a pretty reliable source for dunny paper. I don't like the stimulus plan, but I'm getting a tax free bonus check in the mail soon. Even my son in Korea is unaffected by this and doing well. I get to video chat with him every day. I see him more now than when he was in the states. I just wish he could see his daughter more than just on a video chat, but that's unrelated to this virus.
Stay safe and look after your elderly. If you are elderly, make sure your "people" take care of you. Let them shop for you and take every precaution to see that this passes over you. If you are personally affected, you have my prayers and I'm good to listen and offer advice if you want it. Best wishes.
On the hobbies, I figured a way to free up some coup space and I may go buy 4 more chicks for more eggs this Summer. If this thing lasts, I want to be as prepared as possible. My friends are already hitting me up for eggs. I like the security of knowing I have my own food supply. I hope I'll be gardening by next year. I should have done it this year, but my son's move to Korea and preparing his house to sell got in the way.

It's nice to see you on an even keel today, Red. Let's hope it lasts the whole day?
I hope everyone does their bit and stays safe without going crazy. People over 70 have been strongly advised to stay home.
I have to do a bit of top up shopping over the next few days. I hope the stores are empty but the shelves somewhat full. Wishful thinking re the shelves I suspect.
It's good that you can video chat with your son, Tex. It's certainly the next best thing to seeing him. I have one at home who was told to isolate for 5 days (then another 3) because he has a cough and a headache. He is staying in his room and not doing anything and that bothers me because he recently had 2 blood clots in his lungs and being sedentary is not a good thing for that. My other son is working from his home now and was told to self isolate last week because a work colleague may have been infected. The work colleague has since come back cleared.

Was out walking at 6am this morning and found a 3m metal bar in a council clean up pile which will make a perfect home chin up bar.

You have a bit of open space around you? I have to really pick the places I go to find somewhere quiet.
