A mate of mine cons insurance companies all the time...
When he gets his yearly bill, he applies on line for a quote and states his bill last year was say
fifty dollars less than it really was....what happens....the insurance company gives him a quote
twenty bucks less than last years fictitious amount...works all the time......

I think you'll find right hand drive vehicles predate left hand drive ones by at least a hundred or more years, Tex.

It's amazing the people just don't give way when it's so obvious that they should.

I think if they cause an accident they should lose their license for 5 years.

Why is it so high?

Partly because they get away with charging that much.

Another is that with so much plastic in place of the metals used in the past there is more damage to repair after a collision. Insurance has deep pockets so the repair shop charges whatever they can.

Cell phones and other distractions, that one got me twice last year. Women distracted by their cell phones, one was a solid rear end collision and the other drifted into my lane and into my fender.

Of course, the motor industry wouldn't have any thing to do with it...…
We all know that if a car which is insured is being repaired, the quote is grossly
inflated...the cost is born by the insurance company, and then passed onto the motorist in increased
premiums....
