Whats the worse decision youve ever made.

Post by billy the kid » Mon Jul 15, 2019 5:58 pm

Don't know if this thread will attract much interest....just a something to do thread....

I started share trading in about 2000....I remember tossing up about buying various shares....

I researched a company and saw its price...but for some reason chose not to buy...
I bought others instead which I sold for a slight profit.....

The company I should have bought...…..and the price.....

Cochlear....at $6.64
It is now trading at $220........... :OMG
To discover those who rule over you, first discover those who you cannot criticize...Voltaire
Its coming...the rest of the world versus islam....or is it here already...

I invested about $5000 in gold and mining shares back in the early 1980s. I had all the paperwork in storage which ended up being stolen. I believe the companies were taken over and changed names and the shares ultimately skyrocketed but unfortunately I have no way to chase them up.

I also bought Bank of New South Wales shares at around the same time and put them in my father's name for safe keeping. 10 years ago they were worth 50 times what I paid for them but my sister stole that lot!

You could say I haven't had much luck with shares :rofl

If I bought shares now I think I would buy Lockheed Martin. They aren't cheap but they will only go up up up.

Not moving to England 30 years ago when I was offered a very lucrative job.

I thought the place was too cold.

But their systems and the job were and still are soooooooooooooooooooooooo much better than we have.

Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Now I just go there for holidays and lament the fact that I could have lived there.
I have a dream
A world free from the plague of Islam
A world that has never known the horrors of the cult of death.
My hope is that in time, Islam will be nothing but a bad dream
