The Weather

Post by Neferti » Tue May 28, 2019 4:32 pm

Well, it is freezing cold in Canberra .... only got to 7C today .... no snow, unfortunately!

Back in the 80s when I came here, it snowed during Winter ... I remember driving to work with the windscreen wipers on because it was snowing .... lightly .... snow on the ground in the morning and kids at school making snowmen. Those were the days.

The last time we saw snow falling during the day here was way back in May 2000.

Please, go to Bali with ALL the "shots" .... flu, yellow fever, cholera, etcetera. Make sure that your Measles booster is up to date. Lots of deadly diseases are being brought back into Australia by people travelling overseas.
