As I said in Bobby's original thread, self insurance is the go. Put some money aside for the big stuff and consider overseas hospitals.

Yes it does and moreso if the doctors and dentists tell you not to bother.

I know overseas hospitals are cheap but I have also seen some horror stories on tv and there is no recourse if things go wrong

The top few hospitals in Thailand are every bit as good as here.

You dont really need it in NZ we have a free health system
