I came from a similar back ground to Michael...poor but we didnt know we were poor...
but I am not a crim nor even know of any crims....
we were all poor no one in the street owned a car..we played on bombsites...or in the gutter....swapping bits of coloured glass.[treasure].
no bullying in those days.. if there was a fight it was over something not because you want to bust someones head in like today..
what is called poverty today.. in this country.... is a joke when I think back on what it really was
and what I see still going on in 3rd world countries in 2018...is disgraceful.....even at the worst... we were kings and queens compared to whats going on today...in Bangladesh..... is that country full of criminals..????
