Many people will just buy a new knife. Those people are not allowed near my knives.
I have to find people who have nice knives or knives with a sentimental value.
I am a bit of a worrier
Perhaps. Apart from sharpening knives, do you actually use them to chop stuff? Then cook it?
A new "landcruiser" every other year, no wonder he tells you it costs him $50K a year. I don't think I would like that friend of yours. Is his wife a big spender too?

men are good chiefs, we like to eat.
They are nice people. And rich. A 'Cruiser' is right to tow their huge caravan all around Aussie.

find a part time job around school..
like... a lollypop man... (not straight away... have at least 6 months off.. you deserve it!!)
but a lollypop man works two hours in the morning and two hour in the afternoon.. right?
I think its at least $26 an hour..
but you don't work on the school holidays...
so thats 3 months of the year off and the extra $$$$ from being a lollypop man pays for your holidays
