Saw Dire Straits back in 1986. Plus a few others who are not really memorable.

I had tickets to see them but was sent to Melbourne with work when it was on, so the family went and I missed out!

We had front row seats and could see the whites of their eyes. Great night. A birthday present for me from a friend. We caught the bus up to Sydney and back. We still talk about it.

I just missed getting to see "The Guess Who" at a bar in Baton Rouge LA. They were playing the night after I left. I almost "broke" the equipment I was working on so I could stay another night.
