Dumping 20,000 Haitians into a town of 60,000 and then giving them a car is trouble and you're going to get consequential trouble from both sides.

Why is the ABC still being funded btw? Why haven't they been shut down?
Their lies about Heston Russell and their deliberately doctoring video footage to pursue their agenda is a disgrace to our nation.

Why are we paying for this?
Do you have a link?
It was on Spotlight on Sunday night. 7news has been updating the story. The ABC added gunfire to a helmet video trying to make out that Heston Russell was killing innocent civilians. He wasn't. That, in and of itself, should be enough to shut them down.

He's already won a lawsuit against them for defamationn but its ongoing.

An audio expert has claimed video footage published by the ABC was altered to add five extra gunshots, making it appear that an Australian soldier was firing at an unarmed Afghan man.

In October 2023, former special forces commando Heston Russell won his defamation case against the ABC after a Federal Court judge ruled the broadcaster could not prove articles it published were in the public interest.

Mr Russell sued the ABC and two investigative journalists for defamation over stories that he claimed gave the false impression he was under investigation for shooting an unarmed prisoner.

Those stories, written and produced by journalists Mark Willacy and Josh Robertson, aired on television, radio and online in October 2020 and on November 19, 2021.

The defamation case is estimated to have cost taxpayers up to $3.5million in legal fees on top of the almost $400,000 in damages paid to Mr Russell

Now, independent forensic digital audio expert James Raper has told Channel Seven's Spotlight he was 'shocked' by what he discovered when asked to examine a video published by the ABC about the alleged war crimes.

Mr Raper examined the video showing six gunshots being fired from a helicopter at an Afghan man, comparing it with original video of the incident taken from the soldier's helmet camera.

He said the evidence pointed to audio of six gunshots being 'copied and pasted' from a different clip and applied to video of a single warning shot being fired.

'It completely misrepresents what those soldiers were going through that day,' he told the program.

It's happened more than once.

That's amazing - they should lose their license for that.

The ABC has become an appalling state of Media professionalism. I wonder what the guy from Media-Watch thinks about the ABC these days? Maybe he's in on it too.
To commit a fraudulent act of Media projection to the Public is comparable to what Communists and Regimes do with their 'controlled' Media of false Propaganda.
The American mainstream conventional Media and now the Australian, has indeed become the living myth of Orwell's BIG BROTHER.
I can only wonder how many times they have got away with it over the decades, duping the Australian (and American) public with lies and doctored footage? More than they have been busted for, I'm sure.
I remember Chelsea Clinton had a clip of Trump doctored on behalf of her mother. Made Trump look bad for ignoring the outstretched hand of a kid in a wheelchair, while shaking hands with more important people on the stage. This caused a major Lefty outcry until the full footage was revealed and it actually showed Trump attending to the kid in the wheelchair for a handshake and talk 'before' the others.
It's become a blatant and bias Media War of false propaganda these days. Don't know what to believe anymore.
"Let's go Brandon." Sheesh.

Even Media Watch has gone all woke now.

They push homosexual agendas, mass immigration and Darkie narratives.

Personally, I'm surprised the ABC treated Heston Russell in this shocking manner. After all, he is a gay and don't they promote LGBTQIA+ issues at every opportunity?

I was a bit disappointed though to hear of his explicit "Only Fans" account but surely the gay ABC should have been extolling this example of gay abandon.

Politics & Media.

The ABC: A channel run by Politics basically.

...but has since 2000, become more a domain of the Media Industry itself and its Anti-Political (Leftism from America which is anti-British basically) themes.

Q&A is part of our own Deep State.

Hopefully Dutton will follow Trump and exorcise the demons in it.

Last Monday Q&A spent the whole hour denigrating Trump -
only to have him win the next day.

What will they do tonight?

Q+A

9:47PM - 10:49PM

The great transfer of political power.
The United States is giving Donald Trump another chance,
while the world anxiously waits for what comes next.
What does a Trump White House mean for trade, security and the economy?

Nice of the govt/political industry to set up a free to air channel for all Australians.
Only for the Media Left to steal it with absolutism for their narrative.
It's a bit tricky.
1) Should the Media of ABC adhere to the political orthodox of the Right, that funds it. That is, it's a political channel for Australians.
2) Should the Media orthodox Left have total power over it and if so, shouldn't the Media itself be funding it then?

I think the Media should be thankful that Politics (govt) paid for 'them' to have a Voice so to speak, when they had none.

I think the only outcome is for Dutton (orthodox right) to defund it from taxpayers and send the bill to the Media lefties if they want it to keep airing.
Sure, the Media Left fake political party known as the ALP can bring it back again, but would taxpayers be willing to fund a channel, that the Media can afford to do so?

I reckon the Media Left (and it's ALP) have over-achieved with blatant bias and the will to dominate with the ABC. That given the choice, they would fold it, if they couldn't keep scabbing funding from the taxpayers... especially those who are not politically Left.

Truth is, that when it comes to the 'traditional' media (because 79% of all the internet industry, does not see itself as part of the Media) - the Left mindframe is justified and empowered.
Politics is definitely of the Right mindframe.

I keep watch on their cultural Marxism and brainwashing of the Australian people
with left wing, woke, pro-homo, high mass immigration ideology.
