National Times to ride again?

Way back when I was in Uni--yeah yeah before years needed 4 digits--there were two weekends papers I read. Nation Review published by businessman Barton (forgot first name) and National Times published by Fairfax.

Now the Age/smh opinion pages will be publish online as the National Times. Supposed to have great journalism (yeah right, Fairfax sacked nearly all its journalists )

Going to be interesting, but doubt it will last. If it was good I would pay to subscribe if it came to that.
