McNuclear McPower/McWaste from the McLiberals
come on guys...let's get serious and threaten the Fibs with political extinction for threatening those not born in democracy, or, indeed, not yet born at all with the horrible uncertainty of it all.
Like Lightning, Nuclear Power/Waste is best avoided at all costs!

I don't think we should be ruling out nuclear just yet. It doesn't make much difference to me whether the US has enough material for 10000 or 20000 warheads. I think it is a lot easier to safely bury nuclear waste than it is to bury CO2.

That's not the problem with Nuclear Genie though!freediver wrote:I don't think we should be ruling out nuclear just yet. It's a double edged sword that takes the well worn path of attacking the power supply in times of war to a new level...

Is there a problem with Chinese and French and Russian and other nucular nations? or are you saying Australia will become a terrorist/terrorised nation due to its inherent Left-wing problems?Deathridesahorse wrote:freediver wrote:***It yells Terrorism!***

I'm saying the industry, and support of it, should not be treated as a merry joke along the path toward evermore unsustainable living!Me wrote:Is there a problem with Chinese and French and Russian and other nucular nations? or are you saying Australia will become a terrorist/terrorised nation due to its inherent Left-wing problems?Deathridesahorse wrote:freediver wrote:***It yells Terrorism!***
...it's time to wake up or die by the sword I fear!

Nuclear waste will be easily taken care of if we stop socializing our economy and allow the invisible hand to do its job. Watse can be packed and sent into the sun. Have you noticed the first space-tourism companies starting up?
Allow it to happen and we will not need to store waste on the planet. And we will have far less carbon pollution. And the left will have to find another trojan horse.

Not by the invisible hand - it would leave it in a shallow grave beside the road. There are some things a free market should be left to deal with. This is not one of them.

The market is what's allowing the possibility to arise in the first place of safe disposal of waste, not government. Government puts a millstone around the market's neck. If it removed some of that load, things would progress that much faster, and we would all be so much better off.freediver wrote:Watse can be packed and sent into the sun.

Want to compare the competence of those exposed to the discipline of the market vs bureacracies?
