Great we are at the forefront for once!The US FDA has directed that cigarette packs must display graphic warnings by Oct 2012.

Australia has had graphic warnings for years now, and the report says 40 other countries also have graphic warnings, most with far more explicit images than what the US has mandated. Gives context for Big Tobacco’s fight against plain packaging: if we do it then others will no doubt follow.
