Now the victims of child abuse aside..(because this atrocity goes without saying, we always discuss this aspect of it which is too sad to hash back over).... lets us examine the other innocent lives that will change for ever now as a result of his actions.
He's married, as young kids...a lovely wife Tina who if she doesn't divorce him even if she still loves him will be shunned by her own social networks... what parent is going to let their kids socialize with hers, this or come over for slumber parties unless she leaves him... the kids are too young to understand but will read about it this and cop hell about it at school for sure. His parents worked hard to give him the very best private school education, he had a promising career, life was set...not even his own parents or family....and a majority of his real-world friends will want anything to do with him, so he will slip , slide into a world of isolation, depression.....loneliness, then probably hook up with the same deviates who enticed him to view porn to begin with and his life will be ruined.
He comes from a large family..... quite a few siblings (large catholic family)... can you imagine Xmas, easter, birthdays?
For these people it will be like he's died...they will grieve and detach....it would take a very strong family to get over this, and even still...theres his own kids to think about even if it's unlikely he would do it to them... rather it's their perception of what and who their father was which will be shattered, .... most family's can recover from extramarital affairs... time heals most wounds, but not all... this is one that will forever sicken those who loved , and probably still love him dearly.
When these people detach from reality and step into a fanciful online realm of surreality, they don't think about this... and once it's done... it's done.
My heart goes out to all his victims..... even his family and friends who will more or less be forced to have his metaphorical funeral even though they know he's still alive and miserable, out there somewhere.
He'll probably move far away... and write to his kids every pancake day.
So many will have suffered as a result of such a stupid stupid thing to do.
He will be that uncle/relative that noone talks about at BBQ's..(this or may meet up with in secret under strict supervision for the sake of the kids own memory of him) at least when people die, there comes a point when family can start talking about them comfortably and happily at get togethers again...so who wants to talk about an old grub who selfishly changed their lives forever with just the click of a mouse?
Even if his wife stays with him, forgives him, neither he, she the kids or his family and friends will forget.... when even a peddo joke or a crime show on TV will bring the mood, atmosphere to a grinding sickening halt.
There are no winners when this sort of thing happens... only losers all round.
