Good old Attabull, his reaction to the White Paper seems set to destroy the Fibs' last area where they are ahead of Labor: defence and national security.
So as well as slowly but surely driving support for the Fibs down Attabull has destroyed their traditional strongpoints of better economic manager and better manager of national security.
To be fair to Turdbull, Howard wasting $400Bn, tax revenues from the mining boom, on buying elections meant the better economic manager standing was on shaky ground anyway. But now they lose their standing on defence, and there is a good half of fib supporters that Uturnbull is slowly but surely driving towards Labor: the Fibs HAVE to get rid of Attabull and quick or they will be reduced to a cricket team in both houses at the next election!
Bring back Horatio!
Fibs set to lose their sole remaining superiority?

The Libs on the Poll Bludger are certainly in despair at the state of their party - and yet they say they will vote for it anyway. That sort of uncritical voting doesn't do their cause any favours. If they even remember what their cause is.
The better I get to know people, the more I find myself loving dogs.
Re: Fibs set to lose their sole remaining superiority?
Unlike Sheepy and LOW_IQ Glen & GP & Bree despair not at the Fibs being in opposition (lots of changing of govt between the main parties is healthy for democracy) but at the complete and utter lack of policy work, recruiting and development of the Fib machine etc. Of course, when you appoint Mesmerelda to do a policy review you have to expect nothing much will happen. I think too the ultra-right faction that grew under our worst-ever PM Howard is hamstringing any efforts to get rid of the last vestiges of the Howard 'legacy' and moving towards the 21st century.
And there is that demographic trap awaiting them as the pre-boomer generation shuffles off this mortal coil taking their high Coalition support with them.
In short, the Libs are fucked!
