Victorian Bushfires
66 people have now been confirmed to have died in the fires in Victoria. There seems to have been square kilometers of countryside burnt!
Hope no one here has anyone near that lost property or life in the fires.
Way worse than the Ash Wednesday fires, and I drove through kilometres of burnt forest, going to Pt Elliot via Meadows a couple weeks afterwards.
I cannot imagine the fierceness and deadliness of those fires!

Re: Victorian Bushfires
Hmmmm maybe we can't afford small settlements/subdivisions? That is where the deaths happened. Every year the bushfires are bigger and hotter. . .

Yes Monk, every calamity from arson to the fall of the West Coast Eagles is due to global warming.

Had my dick been available to the fire fighters of Victoria, lives would have been saved, lives would have been saved.

Well in this case, it is probably true.

Re: Victorian Bushfires
Nothing to do with building settlements in eucalypt forests then?

Re: Victorian Bushfires
Hmmm I should have said "Heatwaves and global warming"
Of course, heatwaves are associated with bushfires, we get very few bushfires in winter.
