If you were one of them, how would you play the game? I'd do a Wilkie at this stage, and remain non-aligned, aloof.

They're certainly taking their time in making up their minds - meanwhile the rest of Australia is put on hold.

It looks like the coalition is becoming unstuck though - prank calls, abuse to the wrong people and dissension within the ranks! It couldn't be much fun for Abbott who isn't much of a leader unless it's coaching nippers.

If they're going to have a pouting attack, because old, one eye'd Alby (another country MP of their own ilk) had a frank discussion with them, one on one, over the phone, then it's time for a new election.

Oakshot is seeming more like a pretentious little whiner who runs to the media under the slightest hint of pressure.

Not a good look for him.

Mind you, every time I hear Winsdor speak he goes up a couple of notches in my book as a fairly balanced character with his head screwed on

then it's time for a new election.
That's my prediction.

Fantastic news. The independants are going to go labor. So that means for me the very best outcome because;

1. Labor will over spend. Miss manage the ecconomy that the liberals made strong.
2. The chinese will continue to buy but we will fail to save.
3. In 5 years time when i am ready to come home the;
- dollar will be worth shit compared to today
- house prices will still skyrocket so my house will be worth more
- i move my Uk money over at a great exchange rate
- The Uk recovers under the conservatives.... making my house here grow in value
- the £ grows in strength
- UK house price boom
-Uk pension is working for me while I am back home..

Man the outlook looks great for me... how about you guys at home.

I notice the stock market when down approx 15 points after the news. No surprises there.

What a good result from these Independents.
Regional Australia gets a look in (Hello Nationals? Anybody Home? nope)

A Balance of power in both houses - which moderates the excesses of legislation from all sides.

Democracy as intended. Perfection!
