Libs to increase GSt to 15%

Post by Jovial Monk » Mon Jun 28, 2010 1:04 pm

Not much talked about—I wonder why—but they have been flying a kite on their website.

Predictable really, the “savings” mentioned in the weirdest ever game of political pass-the-parcel were not really saving at all or at most tiny increase to the budget bottom line. That leaves the GST. Hey, better to harshly tax the less well off of your own people than to ask obscenely rich overseas–owned miners to pay a bit more tax!

The wealthy of course will get huge income tax cuts to compensate, the less well off will get diddly squat, just bracket creep returned like when the GST was introduced.

Luckily there is no chance this secret policy will ever be implemented.

You should stick to the lies from the Liebor party rather than trying to invent non-existent ones from the Libs.

They have enough of them to keep you busy for a decade
