James Edward Chalmers (born 2 March 1978)
Treasurer Chalmers, spruiker of Australian Jobs growth, interesting to note how this growth has coincided with immigration figure's.
All he did was import door dashers, since when did working 6 hours a week constitute for full-time employment in Australia?
When dashers under- earn, they require government benefits to supplement their income. Yes?
Will Treasurer Chalmers define the meaning of employment in Australia for us?
Will he explain exactly what occupational area of growth we are seeing here? Delivery services & public servants. Both claim to be desperately under-employed.
What happens when Colesworth begin offering free and fast delivery for their customers?
They generally won't hire immigrants with a criminal record.
Public servants and door dashers make up what percentage of the jobs growth he's spruiking?
Home delivery services were always going to boom post covid as people found a better way of shopping when strapped for time or not wanting/ able to risk getting covid.
NDIS blow-out also helped create temporary jobs, care workers who have no experience working with vulnerable people in public & private group homes, care facilities and attending to clients in their own homes.
Like me for example, with RA, food delivery services come in handy.
However, many existing Australians like my Stepdaughter struggled to get work as these immigrants have taken jobs that otherwise would have been filled by uni students and other Australians wanting to earn some part-time earnings.
There's also the concern with under- regulation and exploitation concerning food delivery service providers hiring immigrants who use the same vehicle, share the same dasher ID's, and there's no requirement for criminal history checks either. There's been some concerning incidents involving these dashers who continue to "dash" with their mates ID when they get banned. A delivery driver was caught on camera urinating in a customer's garden and as a consequence he was let go..... however customer's were most surprised to see him continuing to deliver only under a different identity using a different vehicle. There's been far more concerning reports apart from food theft, and urination too. Like stalking and targeting vulnerable customer's with elaborate scams too.
Will Prince Chalmers tell us what his definition of a job is?
What constitutes for being employed in Australia, when referring to his artificially inflated employment figures?
Will he address our nations growing under-employment crisis, housing crisis, ( homelessness & families living in tents & cars?) that a Labor government has burdened us with, and how this has coincided with inflation?
Labor can spruike figures until they're blue in the face, but are Australians feeling they're "better off" under an Albanese government?
The discontent right across Australia is palpable, so it's going to take more than a magic lantern filled with poorly interpreted figures to convince Australians that they are better off with Albanese.

This means, LNP need only tuck away a few home truths, much closer to the election.... It won't take much to convince Australians that things will never be easy under a lazy Albanese.
All we need to do is tell the truth.
I heard a little rumour that Albanese has 30 personal assistants, he sounds more like an Emperor than a Prime Minister.
