Trumpet of Patriots?

Post by Black Orchid » Wed Mar 19, 2025 7:45 pm

Trumpet of Patriots. I think Clive Palmer can do better than that? It's quite embarrassing really.

The only ad I keep seeing about them on the tv is aimed at keeping trans out of womens' sports! Whilst I fully agree, it isn't really a problem here and I'm seeing the ad over and over.

He should be focused on power. We're paying 4 times more for electricity than we were paying 3 years ago thanks to Casanova Bowen and his ridiculous notions.

A poll I saw said 39% of Australians don't think nuclear power is safe. Dutton needs to get out there and convince people otherwise.

He has some good ideas but he's not Trump and Australia is not the US.

Don't believe the polls.

Everyone I speak to are all for nuclear power, even the elderly, which kind of suprised me a little.

Isn't it tax deductible?

But he acts as though he has no one advising him.

Nuclear power is ok but does Australia have know how and competent personnel to build and service nuclear facilities on industrial scale?

Yes, but tax- deductible means tax- payer fundable.

It has to come from somewhere, should come out of his party donations, sponsorships. Not Australians hip pockets
This is afterall what campaign funding is for, not boozy nights out with the boys at strip clubs.

We'll have to develop those skills. As opposed to importing them!

The problem always was lack of employment opportunity for nuclear engineers in Australia and now there is lack of nuclear engineers.
Have to brake this vicious circle sometime.
