Australian Culture

I am fed up with the woke insisting Australians don't have a culture.

We have dance, the arts, our beach and water sports, sports in general, our celebrations centre around Christian events, our family and friends get together around these events and we enjoy BBQs, and other traditional Australian cuisine.
We have a distinct western themed culture, and values, and I am fed up with the Left attacking our culture with the view of replacing it with others, ignorant others who may be more inclined to vote for them.

Winging about lack of culture is a part of culture but it is only a part of a whole cultural makeup.

Australia has a lot of varying culture.
There is the Media perspective of Australia which is ever changing in its own way. A culture that has it's masculinity locked into the past, but it's emerging feminine side starting to dominate and stand up as a view towards the future.
To me, this Media aspect of Australia is like an older woman 50+ compared to the American Media which is obsessed with the 'younger generation's and the latest teen movie.
Aust Media also seems obsessed with $$$ while the American Media is, as Raquel Welch said, obsessed with sex.

But there are 'other' contributions to this country, which, of course, you can't see with just the Media (of music and entertainment) eyes.
The Internet is slowly helping this emerge as a medium unto itself, even if the TV Media thinks it's narrative 'owns' that too.

I won't drag it on. But not everyone in this country is a 'Down Under' ( for America) Aussie.
Many here belong to the 'Day Ahead' (of America) Australia and quietly go about this existence that will of course take 'time' to eventually make its mark in the global awareness of this part of the world known as Sahul.

Jasin, it's in our best interests to be a " down under pro- American " Australian for military, economic and political purposes.
Ever heard the term Divide and conker? This is exactly what those who aim to destroy the west , capitalism and everything we know to be our way of life , including our culture hope to achieve.

We will prevail, because we as a society know what we stand to lose if we don't.

And more than 70% of Australians agree. The rest are merely infiltrated or immigrated votes which will eventually grow up and realise what side their breads buttered on also.

Soviet Russia + China needs to accept that their days of overtaking the world are over.

Feel free to mock Trump and Musk, but had someone told you they would be taking our world into the next era say 10 or even 2 years ago would you have believed them?

To me, Trump represents the angels trumpets, sounding the warning that judgement day is near. He also represents a trumpet sounding truth and change, because the world order was heading in a bad direction.

I have to disagree with you Mellie, in regards to following the USA both Politically and Military.
Beyond this rare era of Trump bringing America in tune with the whole world. He won't be around forever. Beyond the Trump experience, the true nature of the USA has been a rogue self absorbed privatised political nation which rejected the British way in it's war of Independence in favour of being dependent on the 'archaic' Western way of Rome & Athens.
Germany held onto the archaic way (Hail Caesar) and failed.
The Confederates failed in America.
France will fail because it to rejects Great Britain, and holds onto the archaic western way. The Democrats in America will fail too.
Even Italy itself will fail, holding onto its Roman past.
Another will fall in America too.
Greece as well, even though it liberates Anatolia from the Moslems.

The Archaic Western way of Rome & Athens will fail because it is a primitive entity of long ago.
Great Britain will not fail, because it eats from the Tree of Life from its colonies and not the Tree of Knowledge from the archaic past. When I say 'fail', Great Britain will die as a European nation, because it will sacrifice itself for its colonies (it's children) and be 'reborn' in a now wanting America to live again in NOW, the TRUE WEST.

But for now, America is not 'the' true Western nation that it can only 'act' as if it were, like in some movie of entertainment and Media.

This is why Australia must only bend for America, but defiantly not break for America. It's currently the false god of Politics and hence why nations like Russia, China and more refuse to bend the knee to America. Trump is just a 'taste' of showing the world the hidden future of what will one day come to be and that's what the world feels at peace with. But Trump is just a momentary glimpse into the future. After him, America will revert back to its archaic rogue way until another phase is complete.
Even Isaac Asimov wrote a series (Foundation) depicting the end of America as the archaic Roman (Greek) Empire REPLICANT.
There are also some recently published books by political experts that give many reasons why Australia must not follow America politically with absolution and replication. Much like how the 'celebrity' Republican Movements try to REPLICATE an America here.

Have you been to the UK recently, because everyone I speak to who have, and who has family there are aiming to leave.

It's a mess unfortunately.

Australia has so much potential, to be It's own identity, we just need to stop mocking and devaluing our own worth, pandering to China and India whom really would love to consume us, Russia too.
