Rising Inflation and Rising Interest Rates

Post by lisa jones » Wed Jul 20, 2022 3:43 pm

The next 2 years will be interesting. After that both should drop. Well that's what experts are predicting.

Our interest rates are locked in for another 2 yrs so we're ok on that front. ( I locked all our real estate investments for a 3 yr period at 2% )

Our monthly family budget spreadsheet on the other hand has noted a definite change. There's no doubt about it. Our net savings column on the right has decreased by $500 a month. That's $6000 a year. In lost savings.

How have you ... the PA regulars been travelling given the current wave of rising inflation and interest rates?
