Some weeks ago we were told that flights from PNG into Cairns were suspended.
Then we were told that flights from PNG into Queensland were suspended.
Today Dr Young said..... "severely unwell" coronavirus patients from PNG were being transferred for treatment into Queensland hospitals.
Dr Young also said that people from PNG were going directly into quarantine or hospitals....
I see...
We had to have a 3 day snap lockdown in Brisbane due to a recent covid outbreak....1 case....
We also have the entire northern NSW under strict masking regulations....
Ive lost track of the restrictions in country Qld...the music festival was cancelled in Byron Bay because
of 1 case....
THIS is all after Qld Health told us that NOT ALL QLD nurses and Doctors treating covid patients had been vaccinated.
Only yesterday they decided to offer the vaccination urgently to partners of nurses and
doctors who are treating covid patients....
YESTERDAY.....
THIS is after Qld nurses were sent home from a hospital yesterday because even though they were
attending for the jab, because it was Good Friday, there was no-one to give them the jab...
Meanwhile, a Brisbane hospital's coronavirus ward has been shut down as health authorities investigate how two of its patients became infected.
AND in Toowoomba, 2000 doses of the jab were thrown out as they had not been refrigerated
properly by the suppliers...
No wonder Qld Health is blaming the Federal Government for shortage of doses...
They have to deflect the debacle of the above and blame someone else...
Meanwhile, covid patients from PNG continue to be admitted to Qld hospitals.
AND the media are totally silent....
The Qld economy is on its knees...
No-one says boo....

I wonder where the "sudden outbreak" of the virus in PNG actually came from....
Meanwhile, in an embarrassing development for Australia, apparently we have approached
the US for assistance with PNG.
Strange..I thought we had everything under control...
Besides, wasnt Australia committing millions of doses of the jab to the Asian Pacific region....
Wasnt it our responsibility...wasnt that the "deal"
Why do we have to ask for assistance from the US...
They will probably send us a few million doses....
They will probably ask us if they need to send someone to show us how to open the vials....
This will be used as another excuse for the slow rollout...

One woman who works at the PA, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the hospital's second infection control failure in the space of a few weeks had left some staff "panicked".
The first nurse, unlike the doctor weeks earlier, had received her first vaccination dose when she tested positive.
But the PA staffer told the ABC it was not lost on frontline health care workers that many of them still had not been given their first vaccine dose, unlike many senior administrative hospital staff who have no direct contact with patients.
As late as Thursday, doctors seeking Pfizer vaccinations on site were being knocked back, she said.
"Some doctors have gone to outside GPs to get their [AstraZeneca] shots," she told the ABC."

My previous comment quoted nurses saying that they are panicking...
Of course...wouldnt YOU panic....
A hospital is placed in lockdown and 400 front line health care workers are sent home
to self isolate...
Hang on...
These are workers from the hospital which is receiving covid patients from PNG...
WHY ARENT the front line workers who have been in close contact with covid patients
in this hospital in quarantine.....
That of course, would totally screw the health system, wouldnt it...
Instead, Palaszczuk...(or Young...depending on whos running the circus....) sends
them home to self isolate until they get a negative test...
Must be one rule for front line health workers and one for the rest....
That wouldnt happen....would it....
Meanwhile hospital senior administrative staff get the jab, whilst nurses were sent home
on Friday who arrived expecting the jab, but the jabbers were sent home because it was
a Public Holiday..come back Tuesday.....
AND the supportive, government sympathizing media whores totally overlook all this....
This cover up is absolutely ludicrous....
