The militant left

Post by sprintcyclist » Tue Jan 07, 2020 3:37 pm

A Change.org petition to de-register the Greens party that received over 34,000 signatures was shut down yesterday, when the author came on the receiving end of coordinated death threats and threats to his wife along with mass flagging from disgruntled users.

The petition entitled ‘De-register the Greens Party’ was formed in response to the Greens blaming climate change for the devastating bush fires ravaging the country while a huge number of them have been deliberately lit. Australia doesn’t have a climate change problem, it has an arsonist problem.

Last week I covered how the ABC attempted to memoryhole a story on protesters who successfully browbeat the department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning into reducing planned fuel reduction burns around Gippsland from 370 down to only 9 hectares. ........

Doublespeak and silencing what they don't like into submission by way of aggression. Unless the centre left stand up to this bullying it will only get worse.

I don't wear MAGA gear because I like to avoid confrontation. Maybe I should rethink this. My voice is just as valid. Still, I would hate to hurt somebody over my hat or a shirt.

I don't care what sort of hat or clothing people wear. I would never confront them. It's a weird and triggered world we live in now.

Y'know it was probably less than a year ago now there was some controversy about some lefties on an ABC show (probably Q&A) who said "Well it's about time we burnt this country down, so let's burn some shit".

Yet everyone seems to have forgotten ... even though it was their comrades in bureaucracy who generated the massive fuel load in the first place.
If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?

I'm sure I would get a lot of good comments as well. I would have no problem wearing a MAGA shirt to a gun show or even a church function. Maybe I should just exercise my first amendment like I exercise my second amendment and let the chips fall where they may.
