Lowe sits on his hands again.

Post by billy the kid » Tue Aug 06, 2019 4:44 pm

Lowe has decided to sit on his hands again and do nothing about the interest rates.
Obviously, he is now continuing to spruik about how the government should increase
infrastructure spending...fiscal policy which he is not involved with...
But of course, he doesn't want the stigma of being the Governor of the RBA which leads
Australia into negative rates territory.
I see Howard also is opening his pie hole, suggesting that Lowe has gone too far in cutting
twice so far...of course he would criticize Lowe...he knows that Morrison is heading towards
a cashless society, but is attempting to shift the blame onto Lowe...but thats typical of an ex
politician....lie to the public...
Laughable isnt it.....
On one hand we have Lowe pontificating about fiscal policy, which is none of his business...
and on the other hand we have Morrison attempting to con the public with his secretive
legislation disguised as "anti money laundering" legislation...but in reality its a push
towards a cashless society....
Its like the blind leading the blind.....
And out there as a curve ball for everyone is the HSBC Bank....in the shit....
I wonder if anyone has money deposited in HSBC branches in Australia...
Is your money safe...dont forget APRA has bail in laws....tabled in the middle
of the night by Joe Hockey.....
Needless to say no-one will tell us the truth....should we even expect it...... :rofl
To discover those who rule over you, first discover those who you cannot criticize...Voltaire
Its coming...the rest of the world versus islam....or is it here already...

I know absolutely NOTHING about Economics but it is said that if you put all Economists together, NOT one would agree.

I have no idea what "negative" MORTGAGE interest rates means. I was paying 17% back in the 80s.

I have no idea what rate my SAVINGS attracts, I don't care.

I still feel COLD so the Daikin split system isn't as efficient as it is supposed to be (or needs a service), cold, frosty mornings do nothing but "natural gas" is far more expensive than electricity.

I really wish for SUMMER and the really HOT days right now ..... thankfully, no humidity here. Just dry heat and A/C is great.

Canberra? No humidity? Gee it must have changed since I lived there. I remember semi-dry summers compared to what I experienced in Adelaide. Now, Adelaide has really dry summers.

HUMIDITY. My Scottish friend tells me about HUMIDITY when the temperature is 15C and HUMIDITY is 99%.

I relate HUMIDITY to when it is about to RAIN ........

Humidity = feeling so HOT and sweat pouring off you. Having a shower and immediately feeling beads of sweat on your brow?

Equally humidity in cold climates makes the weather seem colder.

Sydney has a revolting climate IMO. Melbourne is slightly better. Perth is better again. Canberra is OK. Brisbane is disgusting. Darwin is OK for about 3 months of the year, the rest is tropical and disgusting. Adelaide is the best! 8-)

Not quite, Cods. My family live there and while it was hot it was manageable 'cause it was a dry heat.
