Destroyed by a good scare campaign that stayed on message all through the election campaign.
Labors policies good but not clearly explained and lied about continually by Morrisons scare campaign.

Rubbish Red. Absolute blind sighted rubbish.
Labor lost because because the Australian people don't want to see their political parties in bed with organisations like GetUp
AND
Because the Australian people do not want a political party who enforces their gender fluidity nonsense and LGBT indoctrination onto our young via misnamed school programs. They do not want to pay for a Sexual Orientation Commissioner, heading up a National Gender Centre, to appease a minority of men who like to think they are women and therefore victimised. Kids are confused enough. Let them be kids and stop trying to force these deviate programs into our schools and pre-schools. Let 4 year olds be 4 year olds without inflicting minority sexual hangups onto them.
The left need to get away from this BS if they ever hope to lead and that's the sum of it.

Re: Why did labor lose ?
Can you elaborate?
I mean, I was sick of the Libs and the constant bullshit but when Labor announced free childcare and a few others I hoped Libs would win. "Better the devil you know." As they say.

Re: Why did labor lose ?
Agreed. I would actually vote for them if their priorities weren't "sexual orientation" and "gender studies". That subject matter should be treated just as sex education is in schools, or by parents in their own homes. I mean, do we make the ordinary "birds and bees" discussion into a political debate? If somebody is gay, whoop de doo. They can make that decision for themselves, there's enough laws in place these days where they can function as ordinary human beings, like everyone else. I'm a living, breathing example. Same with gender studies -- you can get a sex change now, if you want. It's easier now than it ever was. The part I absolutely detest is these loud dickheads who get onto the internet and make up pseudoscientific terms like "gender fluid" and "non-binary" or claim that there is 853957397293209239 different genders. Give it twenty years and they will add furry rights and "otherkin" to the mix. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a push to normalize paedophilia as well. In any case, it is hardly a priority when we have so many other, pressing issues. Overpopulation, poverty, freedom of speech (the way this world is going, we will be jailed for saying anything that isn't politically correct.)Black Orchid wrote: ↑Sun May 19, 2019 11:38 amOh and Queensland killed the ALP chances because of Adani. And yes, the Adani thing.
In a world that is run by money, what do you think people give a shit about more? The here and now, or the environment in 100 years? People need to survive NOW.
If they are going to fix the environment they need to put things in place so people can keep jobs. You need to create more jobs, all of this needs to happen before you go 'full green'. It's all well and good for this moron politicans, the true dole bludgers of Australia, who sit in their comfy offices and get paid to bullshit day in and out.

All of the above - and lets not forget what Bowen said to Retirees when talking about stealing their fully franked share dividends.
"If they don't like it, they don't have to vote for us"
BOOM!!
Arrogant, Smartmouthed arsehole got put back into opposition.
