Watching SKY News last night was heaven. I love conservative tears.

Pell has been guilty for a very long time.

The catholic church has acted unethically and corruptly for decades

I think I will await the result of the appeal before commenting!

I was rather horrified hear all the abuse being screamed at him entering the court today when as far as I am concerned cool heads should prevail until the court process is completed

I am not convinced either and I have reservations.

All this on one person's word. The other choir boy in question flatly denied ever being sexually abused. He is now dead so cannot testify.

Pell voluntarily returned to Australia to face trial. He didn't have to do that. He could have stayed in Italy forever. He has also always vehemently denied the allegations.

The ONE witness kept saying “He said this” followed by “or perhaps he said that”. No consistency.

None of the other choir boys had any clear recollection of any of this. Parents said there was a strict discipline involved and someone would have noticed two fully robed choir boys running off from the procession. No-one did.

The claim that he 'parted his vestments' has been proven to be implausible because of the construction of such a gown.

Paedophiles are habitual. Not just a one off.

I have no doubts that Pell may be guilty of other offences, more plausibly cover-ups, but of actually physically assaulting this choir boy? I have considerable reservations. Which is probably why Pell volunteered to come here for trial, which he did not have to do.

I will wait for the appeal.

No-one is questioning that.

I have not seen all of the facts on this case but i do ask how you get a guilty verdict when its one mans word against another?

Maybe there was two alter boys to collaborate each other’s story?

Bolt and others are entitled to their opinions - doens’t mean he’s right.

I worked with a guy who seemed completely normal although he could be a back stabber - Turns out he was molestering his young girls.

People who knew him were utterly shocked that he would do this - “HE’s a great guy” - they all said.

Bolt and Abbott would have only seen this side of Pell - he’s a decent man etc.

But i think Pell has already admitted shifting paedophiles from one church to another when they were in trouble. He need to go to jail on that alone.

The other thing that strikes me as very odd - was that Pell was just a man of the cloth but when he started getting into trouble here in Australia - Sudenly the Vatican offers him a job as their “Finance” administrator?

How does that make sense to anyone? - Its like it was a another coverup job - Shift him out of there, he’s in trouble.

More Paedophilla happens within the home by far - but it does’nt Get the type of attention that Preists and that churches do.

The Church institutionalised paedophilla and will have to live with the consequence - attendances are going backwards and they are selling off churches everywhere.

But what do we see moving into these vacuums ?

Mosques- Islamists - sharia law - terrrorism
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
