Banking Royal Commission - hang em high

Post by Bobby » Fri Apr 20, 2018 9:53 pm

The Banking Royal Commission has exposed the crooks running this country.

hang em high.

This country is so corrupt that
even former President Marcos of the Philippines looks look tame.
Hang the lot of them.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferdinand_Marcos

According to source documents provided by the Presidential Commission on Good Government (PCGG),[46][47][48] the Marcos family stole US$5–10 billion.[49] The PCGG also maintained that the Marcos family enjoyed a decadent lifestyle—taking away billions of dollars[46][48] from the Philippines[50][51] between 1965 and 1986. His wife Imelda Marcos, whose excesses during the couple's conjugal dictatorship[52][53][54] made her infamous in her own right, spawned the term "Imeldific".[17][55][56][57] Two of their children, Imee Marcos and Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr., are still active in Philippine politics.

It doesn't matter what the Libs say about this the only people who will look correct are those that called for it in the first place.

Certainly not me.
I never agreed with Banker Turnbull and the rest of the yes Liberal men. i don't even vote for them, I'm not a rusted-on tribal voter like yourself.
I agree with having some sort of federal ICAC, I agree with the RC into the Financial sector always have, the only wedge I see is that partisan chip on your shoulder CFMEU. :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :du

We need to take our eyes off the 2 major parties, both of whom are as bad as each other, and focus on the smaller parties who have Australia's interests more at heart until we get true change and more people wanting to go into politics other than to line their own pockets.

We absolutely need a Royal Commission on the financial sector. We also need one on politicians.

Emphasis on the "minor parties" which are filled with loons and shysters? Emphasis on the "minor parties" which will never have sufficient seats to form government and therefore will be powerless? Emphasis on the "minor parties" which could lead to the "Italianisation" of our Government? Tsk, tsk, "minor parties" might make you feel good but in the end they are not what Australia needs. Major parties, capable of governing in their own right and with a broad church of supporters is what we need. Our major parties need to get their eyes back on the ball, that is all. Bill Shorten appears to be doing that. The Tories OTOH appear to have forgotten the wise words of their then leader of Her Majesty's Loyal Opposition of the day, Andrew Peacock, "What hope do we have of governing the country when we cannot govern ourselves?"

The only way the 2 major parties will ever get their eye back on the ball is if the minor parties upset their trough and take away their balance of power.
