Turnbull - good decisions

Post by mantra » Sun Sep 20, 2015 7:29 pm

Joe Hockey, Eric Abetz, Ian Macfarlane and Kevin Andrews have all been dumped from Cabinet, as new Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull promotes his supporters and women to senior roles.

Really? Why.
Andrews was the only member along with Abbott to speak out against Workchoices... Turnbull didn't.

Abetz and MacFarlane are neo-cons - Hockey is a clown and Andrews is a zealot like Abbott. They are extreme and too far right. The neo-cons tried, but they lost here in Australia. Maybe they'll lose in the US too.

We don't have NEOCONS... the closest we'd get to anything is
Bernadi.

ITT: dickhead lefties show they have no understanding of what a "Neo-con" is but think it sounds good as an ominous insult against those not of the limp wrested left. Afterwards they will return to 911 truther blogs to further discuss thermite reactions and building collapses despite having no chemical of structural engineering education.

Getting rid of knighthoods is a bloody good start. WTF were they reintroduced anyway.

They've been a tradition harking back to our British roots.
Abbott is a monarchist.

The real issue was the stupid decision to award Prince Phillip. if he'd stuck to just Australians and sparingly he'd have been safe with that decision. I'd be happy to keep it until we become a Republic... if we become one.

Since this happened before the new Cabinet was formed has this been a Turnbull captain's call and isn't that breaking his word already about decision making?

It wouldn't have happened before the Cabinet was changed - but probably very quickly afterwards. Turnbull has made it clear he's not a Monarchist. It doesn't look as though people care that much either or there would be more protesting.
