WTF is going on. The once lucky country has mismanaged itself into a basket case..... or..... am I wrong.

Australian Bureau of Statistics figures showed the jobless rate jumped back to 6.3 per cent in July, with the number of unemployed Australians rising past 800,000 for the first time since 1994.

Those figures are conservative. In many areas it's much higher than that. There is so much competition now for one job - 2 or 300 applicants at a time. Foreign labour and outsourcing jobs by so many large companies is making it worse. The future for so many of our young people is very grim and it's going to get a lot worse as we begin to allow Chinese "investors" (buyers) to bring their own workers here.

YES.... you are wrong.
The unemployement figure haven't been accurate or reliable for decades.
Not worth listening to or worrying about unless they suddenly go into double figure magnitude.
