As you can see here, the UK are enduring the same lefty bias on their supposedly impartial BBC.

In the past I have heard cynical chatter about the left wing bias of the BBC but assumed it was nonsensical. Surely this was just the ill judged rantings of conspiracy theorists etc etc.
However I began to take a closer look following David Cameron's own claims of BBC lefty bias; following his difficulty in organising a suitable timetable for the election debates.
Since taking a keener interest I have noticed that there is indeed an undercurrent of left leaning pro Labour bias at the BBC. The omission of the Margret Hodges story has confirmed this fear. A sad day indeed for the so called impartial broadcaster.
The only difference here being their message boards are still accepting public point of views, where as our ABC shut our "have your say" message boards down.

What's concerning however is the seemingly global trend in terms of biased left-wing public/state funded broadcasters.
Are these the views of the public they claim they're representing?
This phenomena is neither new or limited to Australias ABC or Britain's BBC, (state/publicly funded broadcasters).
With respects to the BBC, the noted stateless and unpatriotic bias goes as far back as the 1980's during Thatcher times.
The simple solution some argue is to privatise these networks.
A list of public broadcasters worldwide.

Our good old ABC has yet again embarrassed us and distastefully referred to the imminent royal birth as a "spare" on their 7pm News report.
I'd expect this from a tacky grimy left-wing tabloid like the Guardian or SMH but from Australia's state-owned and funded national public broadcaster?
Such class.
So embarrassing.

I really wish that the current Federal Government would cut off some of the money we give the ABC ....... those hangers on. They forget that they are PUBLIC SERVANTS and paid by us, the Taxpayers. I do NOT watch the ABC ...... haven't done for 20+ years.

Well, it wont happen under Turncoats (Malcolm Turnbulls) watch...he being a closet lefty.
The first step is to be rid of him.

I consider a national BroadcASTER AN ESSENTIAL SERVICE.
I JUST WISH THEY WERE UNBIASED AND NOT POPULATED ALMOST EXCLUSIVELY BY POLTICALLY ACTIVE PROGS.

I'm in two minds as to whether or not privatisation is the answer.
Something needs to be done, the public deserve better.

Don't privatise. Keep it. There needs to be one broadcaster that is independent of the shareholders even if it is lefty biased.
Always remember what you post, send or do on the internet is not private and you are responsible.
