Don't you think it would be the right thing to do to so he can at least see what's going on globally and hear what the general attitude is of other nations? He can at least make a reasoned decision afterwards if he's not impressed. Boycotting it makes him look like a rebellious teenager and he is supposed to be our Environment Minister and an adult.

We've put a bunch of schoolboys in charge of the country.

Very wise words mantra. Fully agree. Can only suppose his refusal is the idiot defence of didn't want know what the world is doing so he cant be blamed for not joining in.
He cant know the world is cutting back on burning Coal if he not attend any place that tells him. Coal is very much part of the Coalition.

I think poor old Mandy got it wrong when she said the grownups were back in charge. This lot seem to be in way over their heads.

And when you get Joe Hockey, who isn't even the Deputy PM, explaining that poor old Tone is too busy running the country to come out and face the press or the public, it makes you wonder what the other ministers are doing. If anything.
The better I get to know people, the more I find myself loving dogs.

Hello Hebe,

I believe you are correct "This lot seem to be in way over their heads."

DaS being heavily involved with both labour and Coalition on the matter of reducing Carbon emission.

Howards last thing was to map the nation (2006) for urban geothermal, that is ground heat under +100*C. Howard well aware of the new Australian technology of converting heat into energy far surpassing Steams best without ever needing to raise steam heat.

Labour needed to get Coal on side so it went for a money grab not a lasting Coal reduction, knowing the punter would only go without so much Coal fired power no matter what the price. Sounded good to the stupid until they realised the punter caught on real quick its only dearer power with the same Carbon emission.

Hunt came on the scene to scrap Labours cash grab but now finds himself unable to fool the punter on how he intends to lower Carbon emissions and still keep the Coal fires blazing.

The problem being, is most of our power comes from Coal fed generators making millions for their owners State Governments. So he has two real problems, one with State Governments and the other with Coal, right in over head I'd say.

Oh dear another Ozpol topic eh.... I just wonder if it was submitted by the same topic owner.
For starters, Hunt isn't boycotting it.
For seconders, Hunt is an AGW, true believer.

So i'm guessing your words would be wise if for once some of them were correct.
