Dearer electricity

Post by DaS Energy » Sat Oct 26, 2013 1:12 pm

Labours Carbon Tax shot up the price of electricity but Carbon emission remains the same. Why do labour sicko's take away the money to stop power stations from converting to low or no Carbon. Why do labour sicko's want us to die from Carbon asphyxiation?

My last Winter(quarter) bill was only about $20 more than last year/same quarter (2012). I did have the heating on, all day (off at night), so expected it. ACTEW, Canberra's Electricity and Gas Monopoly, hasn't been too bad and I believe that Energy Australia or some such company is phoning around to try to get people to change. My house is all electric. Got a new oven and washing machine/dryer combination last year too .... plus I have 2 TVs with Foxtel (on standby) and 2 computers on standby. I think $400 for 3 months during Canberra's freezing Winters is fine!

The idea was to reduce our intake of electricity. It's going to cost us a lot more to unravel it now, especially if Abbott decides goes to a DD.

If anyone really believes that our bills will be reduced once the tax is gone - they're dreaming. The electricity companies will find something to do with the extra money.

Before the tax came in - there were some good deals offered by Energy Australia and others - 15% off your bill for a 2 year contract. My bill has steadily been about $250 a quarter - it's barely moved in years.

Labor's logic: Break promise and introduce tax to force power prices up and force people to use cleaner alternatives even though these are decades away from being affordable and reliable. No matter people can just sweat in the dark in the meantime.

Good job, Labor. :thumb

In Queensland the new coalition backed people into part time clean green energy, then when they had installed it, they turned on them like a pack of dogs and boy do they pay now. Only a fool thinks any Politician is anti Carbon, they all know and have witnessed what a few Coal adds can do. One thing about labour any new full time clean green energy stays well locked away from the public. Its still in Penny Wong's drawer, now Greg Hunts draw and he has tried to get rid of the desk the draws in. None will debate, something about Parliament records seems to put them off.

Why should anyone have to? Other than to force everyone to pay your invented Green sin tax that does nothing...

It's not hard to live without air conditioning. I've never used it. Why is it now supposed to be such an essential part of our lives according to the global warming skeptics. I bet most of you grew up without it.

Has labours new dearer power price gone to full time clean green electricity or pork barrelling? The answer to that shows the deceit the upped power prices were to bring in clean green energy and lower Carbon, not take the money away so its not there to pay for converting to less Carbon and a longer period before humans are wiped out by Carbon asphyxiation. Easily witnessed by putting a burning candle in a sealed jar, perfectly replicates Planet Earth. X parts per million Carbon no human survival. Better we debate Climate Change than face reality!
