The director of Greece's "A child's smile" charity, which is taking care of the girl, praised an observant prosecutor who went on the camp raid along with dozens of police. Now if the article had been about how Greek law enforcement had found the girl while raiding a gypsy camp based solely on them being gypsies, then you'd have grounds for calling "racial profiling".

Upon reading headlines re- Maria and Maddie McCann, you could be forgiven for thinking the number of missing children to presumed abductions involving international rackets is on the rise, theres Maddie, now Greek gypsy girl Maria, ...but then I got thinking, and wondered just how many children, particulary white middle-class British/ Northern European children like Maddie, (and possibly Maria also) do in fact go missing and are presumed or declared to have been abducted by Interpol?

Then I took a look... at Interpols 'missing persons database' and what I discovered rather suprised me... given we hear so much about child abductions, trafficking, and so forth.

All these 'alledged" missing and abducted victims for starters.

Now, in terms of profiling, how was it again MPS and the British tabaloid arrived at the conclusion that these kids were taken by gypsies or rings?

They found a white child in a Gypsy camp.

There could be many reasons this child come to be found in the the care of said gypsys.

I was reading about the Roma's yesterday. France has about 30,000 plus Romani immigrants. They don't want them and are sending thousands back to where they apparently came from regardless of the humanitarian protests.

It's hard to tell what her purpose was in being there. The families must have had some sort of criminal background to be investigated in the first place.

The Roma couple did not abduct this child according to the couples lawyer and Giorgos Tsakiris, the general secretary of the Roma association in Farsala.
Though has the MSM divulged this?

Was in an airport years ago when my daughter (half-Asian) was little and a woman questioned me suspiciously as to whether I was her father or not. I didn't mind. It was good to see that a stranger would care much less go out of her way to do so.
