Australian Voice party... huh?

Post by Rorschach » Tue Sep 03, 2013 9:06 pm

The Australian Voice Party is a newly formed political movement that aims to address the many problems that have arisen under the dominant two party system.

We function differently from traditional political parties by insisting that our elected officials will support the majority view of their electorate on important decisions. We need to restore the fundamental democratic rights that have been lost to “the party line”.

We are a grass roots movement for all Australians with modern principles and values.

All Australians deserve equality, access to an effective health system when they need it and relief from cost of living pressures that have been made worse by poor government planning. The cost of government itself cannot be sustained and there must be structural reform if we are to provide for the needs of the Australian people in the years ahead.

The Government must give priority to supporting small business operators and primary producers and everyday Australians must be given the chance to get ahead.

We will provide practical solutions and innovative approaches to help change Australia for the better by promoting a participatory democracy.

Go to our web page at av.org.au and join us – to have “your say in government”.

....Do you remember your first time Roach?

The first time you voted?

Likening voting to losing ones virginity is not going to entice youth to our polls.

Obama tried to sex-up his youth campaign and failed..... as has Rudd....and he's failed also.... but what got Obama over the line was the non-youth minority vote.

Something Rudd lacks.

Even our minorities are shunning Rudd.

Gone off on some sort of tangent have you mel?
Yes I remember the fIrst election I voted in.

I think the social media approach of this party very limiting.
but they have a few good ideas even though they are from other parties and are mostly just populist.

You moron....do you know what this Australian Voice Party is about?

Apparently not, because if you did...I think you'd find what I said most relevant.

It's a campaign to engage youth in politics, to get them enrolled so they will vote .....and preferably left.

Recall the Communist party of Australia's media activities when it published Tribune, a weekly newspaper (1939 - 3 April 1991), and The Australian Left Review and a radio broadcast in New South Wales in the 1950s, “The Voice of the Countryside”.

Voice of the Countryside -vrs- Australian Voice Party.

If you take a closer look, they are classically communist,.... anti-capitalist, pro-government ownership and regulation, anti-privatisation, against free market... check Australian Voice Party’s wiki then get back to me Roach.

There are plenty more where they came from, it's just this one focuses on indoctrinating youth.

You may find this useful.

Communist publications have a specific theme, 'air' about them, see if you can spot what it is.

For those of us voting below the line - most of the parties - except the obvious ones, need to be checked out. The Australian Voice Party sounds OK, but who knows where their preferences are going to. The link av.org.au isn't accessible for a start.

There are a number of small parties this year with names and basic policies which will appeal generally to the disillusioned - but have they been set up by the major parties for extra preferences?

They are a Conservative party mel... that is how they identify them selves and according to their preferences they put katter and palmer and the libs way above Labor and the Greens.

You gotta stop chasing those reds under your beds that stuff ended many decades ago. Today they are largely out in the open.

Set up by specific factions within major party’s who have in turn effectively struck preference deals with themselves would be a more accurate distinction I think Mantra.

I gotta tell you Roach.... the red's are no longer under the bed.

Time you moved with the times and revisited their sour-rising.
