Copy of an email sent by Qld LNP President Bruce McIvor yesterday:
-----Original Message----- From: Bruce McIver

Subject: $1 a day to make a difference

Dear Xxxxx

The election has now been called for September 7.

The election is the clearest choice in a generation - it's a choice between a truly united Coalition with our Real Solutions Plan or Labor and its chaos, division, dysfunction.

Only the Coalition has a Plan to build a strong, prosperous economy and a safe, secure Australia.

The Coalition offers real change and will deliver a genuinely united government and a better future - for all Australians.

Labor hasn't changed at all over the last six years – it's still the same Kevin Rudd and same old Labor.

In the last week Labor announced two more taxes that will hit the pockets of Australians. All the while the boats keep coming and the debt will keep increasing.

You can start the 34-day election campaign by donating $34 to help us get the message out. Please visit http://www.lnp.org.au/change" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; to make a contribution.

Without your support we will be outspent by Labor's cashed up union movement.

One thing's for sure – Australians simply can't afford three more years of Labor's reckless spending, debt, deficits and new taxes.

Yours faithfully

Bruce McIver
LNP President

Over the last few months I've had 1 Lib email asking for donations.
In the same period I've had over 10 ALP emails asking for donations and countless emails asking for help by phoning friends or door-knocking on behalf of the ALP.

I only joined up to get the Liberal's stuff yesterday. They haven't asked for a donation yet, just 2 emails about the Election. I am seriously thinking about donating a substantial amount ... :think

Send them a dollar so you feel you have contributed.

This election will not be lost due to campaign funds.....Australia is not the US yet.
Always remember what you post, send or do on the internet is not private and you are responsible.

I am sure that Gina and Rupert will donate what they consider adequate. My donation would be "substantial" to me but obviously not to them. It is tax deductible. ;)

Maybe I won't bother ... I was just thinking about it ... hey? :f

Tina would probably spend your dollar wisely instead of on hooker and blow like the ALP would. I would trust those bastards with five cents.

Anyone who gives money to these leeches deserves to be kicked in the nuts and go onto the ALP register of "fucking idiots without a clue"

No wonder the ALP supporters don't care about more taxes. They are prepared to piss even more money up the wall on another useless cause.
