Gillard's desperation...

Post by Rorschach » Tue Jun 11, 2013 8:30 pm

It's bottom of the barrel desperation time for Julia Gillard...
Let the nonsense begin...
Keep trotting those lies out like sausages from a sausage machine.

Julia Gillard says Tony Abbott government would 'banish' women

ABORTION will become the "political play thing" of male politicians if the coalition wins the September federal election, Prime Minister Julia Gillard says.

Addressing the launch of Labor's Women for Gillard campaign, the prime minister said women would "once again (be) banished from the centre of Australia's political life" under a government led by Tony Abbott.

"We've got a hard fight ahead but it's a fight for women we must wage and we must win on the 14th of September," she told a crowd of around 100 women in Sydney on Tuesday.

"Australian women need a voice ... that voice is Labor."

Speaking to a wall of young female ALP supporters, Ms Gillard highlighted abortion as a key election issue. :rofl

"We don't want to live in an Australia where abortion again becomes the political play thing of men who think they know better," she said.

"That's not the future we should choose for our nation."

She said her message for commentators and pollsters was that Labor could win September's election, adding that she was "energised for the fight". :rofl she's dead set demented...

"We know that nothing worth fighting for ever came easy," Ms Gillard said.

She said Labor had always campaigned on behalf of women on issues like paid parental leave and pay equality. yet Abbott's plan is more generous..

"It was only Labor that was going to put paid parental leave on the agenda and get it done," Ms Gillard said. Obviously rubbish...

Earlier on Tuesday, Ms Gillard dismissed as a "waste of breath" speculation about her leadership, insisting she's still the best person to take Labor to the September 14 poll.

More strange is Abbott's desperation to keep up the asylum seeker rhetoric (ie. bald faced lies), despite it being obvious, even to his own front bench, that "turning the boats around" isn't a solution.

Your desperation is showing too, Woachy, what with all those smilies and bold big emphasis on your words of wisdom.

What are you, a cross between mad mel and that psycho, lisa

Turning the boats around is a solution. They are Indonesian vessels.
There is also TPVs which the govt has been too gutless to implement.

What is it with leftards thinking we need to have permission to send an illegal entrant back to where it came from? Since when do we subcontract our border protection to another country? Piss weak bed wetting hand wringers

His "when it is safe to do so" loophole should make it clear to any sceptical observer, that it wont happen. Rhetoric, pure and simple.

The boats wont be stopped in his first term, and even he knows it, despite promising it for the gullible masses.

It takes time to fix the fuck ups of the left. They inflict so much damage in their effort to appear humane while killing people, but I gathered the leftys would send up a cheer as our borders are over run. It would come as no surprise that they would also be megaphoning and giving instruction to the illegal immigrants to scuttle the boats as well because endangering life and killing through idiocy are what the left excel at.

If a ship load full drowning after being turned around is what it takes, then so be it. It will be far more humane than the continuing, never ending deaths under the left. A few 0.50 cal shots across the bow should be done too. Let them know there's a new sheriff in town and the softcock leftys have been banished. The free ride is over.

I notice you didn't mention the TPVs and no family reunion

Well done TOKEN... you are filling the Monk/Mantra/Aussie role perfectly.
Personally, I could do without it being so perfect an imitation myself. But hey...

IQS nailed it.
Any intelligent up to date person would have...
Boxy... feel free to join that club.

Like Monk... you don't know what deal he and the government will make with Indonesia.
Boats have been turned around before doesn't mean it can't be done again.

I'm glad he added WHEN IT IS SAFE TO DO SO that makes it much more realistic.

The Rudd/Gillard policies have created this problem and I have no doubt it will take a bit of time to fix it.
But I have no doubt it can be fixed.

:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

The insults are coming thick and fast now... even unintentionally :rofl
Dreyfus was always an idiot.

Julia Abbott
A slip of the tongue by one of Julia Gillard's top ministers has drawn howls of laughter in Brisbane.

Federal Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus accidentally called the prime minister "Julia Abbott" after being asked whether he'd be better off campaigning under Kevin Rudd. :rofl

"The contest is between Julia Abbott - Julia Gillard," he hastened to correct himself, "and Tony Abbott. he's probably not sure.

"That is the contest that we have.

"It is about a comparison of policies and I'm very confident that on that comparison of policies, federal Labor stacks up hugely better." :rofl :rofl :rofl

Mr Dreyfus told reporters it was "too early to tell" if calling the election eight months out from polling day was a good strategy.

Speculation about the Labor leadership has reignited in recent days, amid suggestions pressure is mounting within the party to return Mr Rudd to the leadership before the election.

Ms Gillard told reporters on Tuesday she was "completely" confident she would be leading the party into the election.

Boxy obviously prefers thousands of men, women and children to be dashed against the rocks and small bodies of children to be just floating dinner plates for seagulls as they feast on their innocent glassed over eyes over and over and over and over again...such is the compassion of the left.

Killing a fucking shitload for trying a swing and miss at a political point must make you proud eh?

This is a good view from the bunker: Midnight in Altona.
What must it be like for her, you wonder, when the darkness engulfs a lonely home? Is this it, what the years of hack work and sacrifice were all about, the dividend accruing from all those unpalatable alliances and timely betrayals? She is alone now, cut loose and abandoned, in a place no thermostat can warm, with only a smart phone’s muted purr to serve for human contact. It’s midnight and dawn is a memory, no longer a prospect. How long to go? One hundred days-and-shrinking, but the voices babbling on the telly, even on her very own ABC, continue to speak as one. There will be no light between now and then.
Read the whole thing.
Aqualung my friend -
Don't you start away uneasy
You poor old sod, you see,
It's only me
