Mantra and skip will be in a tizz...
Bullying, intimidation, dysfunctional...why not just call yourselves the ALP?

Angry times for the party of peace:
Greens leader Christine Milne is being accused of running a dysfunctional office and allowing a culture of intimidation after the sudden resignation of a highly regarded senior employee.
Alexandra Lamb, a media adviser to Senator Milne, quit her job last Sunday after professional clashes with the party’s new communications director, Georgie Klug.
Ms Lamb was given half an hour to leave her Parliament House office after her resignation.
Only half an hour? Barely enough time to gather up your dream catchers and medicine wheels.
The incident highlighted a culture of tension and mistrust inside the balance-of-power party. Sources say a ‘’bitter, petty and nasty’’ process was put in train to force Ms Lamb’s resignation and was indicative of measures used against other staff.
‘’Alex was so dedicated and professional and this shouldn’t have happened,’’ one party source said. ‘’But the problem is far deeper than what happened last week. The culture is not good.’’
Another source said ‘’tensions have skyrocketed’’ inside the party and ‘’there is an air of chaos and panic as the election gets closer’’.
They’re worried that the great lie will end:
The Greens vowed today to fight for the carbon tax if the Coalition is elected in September and urged Labor to defy a double-dissolution election threat.

They’re worried that the great lie will end:
And what lie is that supposed to be? Whoever wrote the article is illiterate - throwing a line like that in without reference to anything in particular looks very suspicious.
Alexandra Lamb, a media adviser to Senator Milne, quit her job last Sunday after professional clashes with the party’s new communications director, Georgie Klug.
Oh no! Arguments between two staff members! What a tragedy.
Another source said ‘’tensions have skyrocketed’’ inside the party and ‘’there is an air of chaos and panic as the election gets closer’’.
What source? Maybe this bit of propaganda came from the direction of the Coalition. Perhaps it was Nazi Abetz - he hates the Greens. There's no proof - just hearsay.
I'm not reading the Telegraph - so quote the whole article next time. I'm stuffed if I'm going to pay a subscription to read a propaganda rag.

Milne had big shoes to fill. The source still hasn't been quoted. There could be any number of reasons for this person's departure - incompetency for a start. Who knows? No point speculating when ignorant.

I honestly do not care. You didn't check IQs link and there was no subscription that I saw, just Tim Blair quoting something from the SMH.

Staffers quit all the time. Not too much to read into that, Canberra is a bit of a hothouse.
Yes, the Greens will, deservedly, lose a Senator or two this election—the latest Galaxy had them at 10 compared to 11.8% at the election. Failing to prevent people drowning, failing to represent the environment will do that to a party of protest. I tip them to get 8% at the election.

I just read the blog Monk and there's some truth in it. Of course it was obvious that Milne would have problems keeping the party together after Bob Brown departed.
It's sad. If they go - there will be no-one left who gives a stuff about a sustainable environment and the humane treatment of animals. Labor and Liberal just want to make as much money as possible and too bad about the future.
We are seeing more radical parties such as the Shooters Party suddenly gaining so much power. Who will hold the balance of power after the next election - maybe a return of Family First or some similar extremist party.

Hummpff, it is about a lot more than Bob Brown retiring.
They don’t represent the environment anymore. They don’t care if people drown trying to get here, just like the other conservative party, the Libs. So why would anyone support them?

Voters are deserting the ALP in droves and they have seen the evil of the Greens - just as well the LIbs are the party for all.
Environment without stupidity and economy without the crooks.
I feel sorry for you and Monk. After Sept you will be homeless, rudderless shipwrecks looking for an iceberg to end your miserable existence
