Normally you can excuse the young for being foolish and empty headed enough to lean to the left. Full of hormones, piss, wind and bravado and too busy trying to get laid than pay attention to details, they like to appear compassionate but more importantly, they usually aren't paying much tax either.

Most develop their cerebral cortex and are soon able to think for themselves, although some don't and end up drooling on the Internet and driving taxis- but it sounds like the current generation is switched on
