Yes, it is an involuntary form of “medication." Some would even call it poison. I drink it daily.
Come the middle of March 2013, Cairns’ 150,000 plus area residents will no longer be exposed to fluoride chemicals in the water. This will be the seventh community in Queensland to end water fluoridation so far in 2013. Murgon, Wondai, Kingaroy, Nanango, Blackbutt, and South Burnett have all ended their water fluoridation programs since January.

What happens if a community stops adding fluoride to the community water system? (Back to Top)
Antigo, Wisconsin, discontinued water fluoridation in 1960. By 1965, 2nd grade children had 200% more tooth decay, and 4th graders had 70% more. Antigo reinstituted fluoridation. Studies in other communities show similar results.
Although its not as if QLDers would miss having teeth

Lived in Japan for many years where there is no flouridation and there are plenty of bad teeth. I think the U.K. has no fluoridation and they are known for bad teeth. But is it worth the price? Not that there aren't other ways to keep teeth and gums healthy ... fluoridation is for the lazy and I suspect there are large populations who are better off with it in their drinking water.

It might be a fluke that it is actually good for the teeth but seriously its a medication and not one you should be drinking. It does your teeth no good in your stomach. Use toothpaste!

If there is ever the introduction of 'Denticare' then any levy imposed should be higher for our up and coming toothless QLDers

That is ridiculous. You can apply it with toothpaste while brushing your teeth,. No need for the mass medication and no need to ingest it. Why are there warnings on toothpaste not to eat it? Because fluoride is a poison.
