It is much too early to start declaring on the provenance of these bombs in Boston, but they do have the smell of some far-right nutter(s).

The bombs are reported to be “home made”. Boston is regarded as being quite a liberal city.
It leads one to wonder whether some right wing US crowd is responsible.
Time will tell, no doubt.

Relax, some full-fee paying international student will probably bump Gillard off after failing their mid-semester exams if we're lucky.




I am actually surprised someone hasn't tried to already, not that they would make it public if someone had genuinely tried.

We had a number of 'jumpers' at USYD, most of which (if not all) were international students who had snapped under the strain of soaring fees, loneliness, and generally just finding it hard to survive and study in a foreign country.

So it wouldn't surprise me if one of them were crazy enough to do something like this.

The Lebanese were imported by Fraser and as far as the bombing goes - so far the experts haven't a clue as to whether it was domestic or foreign. There are so many crazies running around the states - it could be anyone.
