Other than the lefts propensity to demonise Gina Reinhart, what is the issue with setting up special economic zones in the north to encourage investment and exports?

China has been doing it for years. Shenzhen was set up as a specific economic zone to cater for manufacturers for the export market and they have a thriving city of millions at the upper elechons of Chinese society. Businesses were given tax breaks and the benefits have flowed onto surrounding areas.
The north has many challenges to it, including distance and lack of infrastructure. Business and economic growth is the only way to propel this area into the future. Of course you will get the Greens and Marxists trying to stymy any though of growth or economic expansion and they will throw out any frog, spider or flower as an excuse to be anti-human but it is finally time to tell the Green whingers to go fuck themselves as none of their dire preditictions have ever come to fruition and they use the precautionary principle as a weapon against human and economic advancement. It's why the devastation of the aboriginal population in remote locations is the fault of the left.
