JULIA Gillard is taking Cabinet ministers Bill Shorten, Bob Carr and Craig Emerson to China on a five-day visit to Australia's biggest customer to meet its new leaders.
In what will be the most senior Australian political delegation to ever visit China, the Prime Minister will be aiming to strike a vital currency deal to help Australian exporters, win new markets and improve defense and security ties.
It will be Ms Gillard's second visit to China as PM and, crucially, will come just weeks after China's new president, Xi Jinping, and premier, Li Keqiang, have taken office.
Ms Gillard is due to have formal meetings with both men, which is seen as important for Australia's aspiration to benefit from the Asian Century.
Aka---The US & UN have sent the skirt (Gillard + Shorten) to negotiate the terms re- North Korea and China and NK being allies. The US wants to pillage and own the Asian Pacific, but I think they will have their work cut out for them.

Remember this....
The Australian Labor Government Made A Secret Plan For War With China In 2009
http://au.businessinsider.com/australia ... 009-2012-6
Kevin Rudd warned the US the world must be prepared to "deploy force" if China could not be integrated into the international system.
And he said his vision for an Asia Pacific Community was primarily an attempt to contain Chinese influence.
Now, a couple of days ago former prime minister and foreign minister Kevin Rudd has told China to influence North Korea.
IN SHORT......
It's all about China, (North Korea by proxy) not willing to integrate within the International community, and their wanting to maintain a degree of autonomy and independence over their own nation and region.
Fair enough?
Don't be fooled into thinking this boundary squabble with North Korea is about anything else.
The reason North Korea's young new leader (age 30) has been making threats is because the US keep encroaching on their borders ...are deliberately antagonising them to justify their intrusiveness and desire to start a war with China.
Republicans and Australian Liberal's got their war in the middle east, I suppose now Labor needs to make up a surplus they squandered so want theirs in the Asian Pacific.
Personally, I think this one is a little too close to home, and I don't believe the west are ready to take on China or NK....
Have you seen the size of their army?
China are currently trying to form an alliance with India, and if this occurs, we can forget it.
The sheer size of India's, North Koreas, and China's army's will dwarf the US's and ours combined....and again, it's too close to home for my likings.
Take a look at this...
http://www.hindustantimes.com/world-new ... 14493.aspx
The US thinks North Korea's third nuclear test is a good moment for China to re-evaluate its longstanding alliance with the Kim dynasty.
And has sent our Labor puppets in to do their dirty work, negotiate with China.
Beijing; In the midst of a flare-up of tensions in the Korean peninsula, China on Friday adopted a 'hands off' approach to the crisis, suggesting that it would not directly intervene to restrain Pyongyang.
"Peace and stability of Korean peninsula as well as northeast Asia serves common interest and requires common effort of all parties," the Chinese foreign ministry said. "We call on all relevant parties to make joint efforts to turn around the tense situation," it said taking some analysts by surprise as China is the only major power with a strong influence over North Korea.
So no..... China wont be negotiating, and wont be asserting authority over North Korea as Gillard had hoped.
So she's wasting her breath paying them a visit at the tax payers expense.
And furthermore....
Must she take the whole netball team?
