Contrary to the misleading commentary by Roachy Poachy Pud'n and Pie on another Thread, this is all about a family feud, and sweet fuck all to do with multiculturalism.

Funnily enough there are 2 differing lines of commentary on this.
One says its Aboriginals vs pacific Islanders and the other that it is just 2 families.

Since I mentioned it first, I must declare that down here in NSW it was reported as Aboriginals vs pacific Islanders.

You really believe this?

Believe that there's no seething contemptuous feudal undercurrent between the pacific Islanders and our indigenous?

You know who you can blame for that don't you.

Who was it again who set the standard back in the early 1900's?

They haven't forgotten boxy.

Of course, our authorities will deny there's a race war going on between the Maoris+pacific Islanders and Aboriginals.

They have never got on Aussie, and this probably stems from the fact that New Zealand Maoris were handed the vote well before our own Indigenous Australians were even considered human enough to cast theirs.

You may thank Labors own King O'Malley for his endearing sentiments.

Excerpts from the media...
The opposition's spokesman for indigenous health Andrew Laming posted remarks on the social networking site last night, after clashes between Aboriginal and Pacific Islander communities at Logan, south of Brisbane.
Hmmm... no mention of just 2 families.
Meanwhile, talks will continue on Tuesday in an effort to end racial tensions that saw the riot squad called in.

The conflict between the Aboriginal and Pacific Islander communities in Logan flared at the weekend with two separate clashes in the suburb of Woodridge and erupted again yesterday.
Hmmm, racial tensions eh... not family tensions or neighbourhood tensions. Communities, not families. Aboriginals and Pacific Islanders.... different races and cultures
An Aboriginal family said it was targeted in one of those incidents by Pacific Islander men who used machetes, metal poles, bats and bricks in an attack that damaged a house and cars. Tensions flared again late on Monday afternoon, prompting police to call in the riot squad to control the crowd.
Hmmm the riot squad eh, must be bloody big families.
But a Pacific Islander elder has denied the problem is racial and says it’s a disagreement between youths from different groups.
Youths from different GROUPS, not families eh
‘I’m just praying to God that this war is over because I don’t want to see anyone hurt,’’ he said. ‘‘We are humble people, we’re not terrorists our Aboriginal people. But we’ve been terrorised.’’
Yep, sounds like a couple of families disagreeing doesn't it... WAR, TERRORISTS...
Aboriginal and Pacific Island leaders believe last night's riot was the result of long simmering racial tension.
Uh-huh...
Police continued patrolling streets in Woodridge, Logan, this week where there was another flare up last night between Aboriginal and Pacific Islander communities.

Yet in the wake of violent clashes at the weekend, and a string of incidents reported as reflecting ethnic divisions in the booming city which neighbours Brisbane, even Mr Khieu can admit Logan is not perfect.

Different backgrounds can sometimes lead to differences in understanding; the softly-spoken elder recounts clashes associated with the 2008 killing of Richard Saunders - uncle of NRL star Johnathan Thurston.

At the time, police conceded racial tensions between local indigenous groups and the area's Pacific Islander community may have contributed to the fatal incident.
Murder, racial tensions, misunderstandings... nothing to do with multiculti... right
While Mr Khieu admits recent clashes tended to be between some members of the city's Pacific Islander and Aboriginal communities, he said the real problems related to the economy, not ethnicity.
oh my God, could Andrew Laming be right after all.

Now what was it you were saying Arsie?

You'll never learn anything like that.

From Arsie's link...

Community leader's protest

But Aboriginal elder Greg Barlow said the two arrested were indigenous, labelling the move unfair because the Aboriginal community had not instigated the matter.

“Not one of [the Pacific Islanders] got arrested, two indigenous boys got arrested,” Mr Barlow told 612 ABC Brisbane.

“It’s not fair.”

Mr Barlow said there had been tensions simmering between the communities for some time, and attempts to reconcile through elder forums had failed in the past.

“We’re just going to take it into our own hands,” he said.

“We’re getting hurt, bashed and killed.”

Rachel Barlow, whose sister lives at the Woodridge address involved in the incident, said 11 people at the house locked themselves in a back room and called police because "they were scared for their lives".

Weekend clash

A Queensland Police spokeswoman said police were called to Douglas Street in the early hours of Sunday morning following a report of a disturbance involving several people.

She said the clash caused damage to a number of vehicles and a residence, with police called back later Sunday night after reports of another disturbance.

Police attended the scene just after 10 pm and found a large group of people allegedly involved in a fight.

“It’s still part of the investigations as to whether there were weapons involved and what they might have been,” the police spokeswoman said.

Resident's sister speaks

Ms Barlow said something had to be done.

"The racial tension between the Aboriginal and Tongan and Samoans has got to stop," she said.

“The situation at Woodridge at the moment is ridiculous.

“My family members can’t even go to the local shop without people starting on them ... they’re literally getting assaulted.”

Mr and Ms Barlow said they did not know what was provoking the violence.

Comment is being sought from the Ethnic Communities Council of Logan and the Logan City Council.
Mr Khieu said tensions between the various cultural groups could be traced back to the killing of Richard Saunders a few years ago.

Leftards overheard the two tribes talking amongst themselves and concluded it was just a family feud because everyone referred to each other as 'bro' and 'cuz'

The left has managed to demonise xenophobia, which is as natural a human trait as fight or flight to the point that they want to deny that it even exists.

Tolerance doesn't equate to acceptance either.

Because It isn't leftard policy to acknowledge that racial tension exists within their Gough inspired Multicultopian society.

It's really as simple as that.
