Action is hotting up.

I am for staying the course: the appalling taliban must not be able to re-impose their nightmare on Afghanistans again.

But airpower is not the answer here, kills more innocents than insurgents. Highly trained troops are needed. And hearts and minds must be the main focus.

Be nice if Europe pulled its weight there too!
