Arctic Ice Fails to follow Warmist Doctrine

Oh dear.

Let me guess, the increase of arctic ice from 2007 is something for which we can thank our hysterical leftist doomsday cult?

It's like the man who claims it is his job to keep elephants out of the town. "But, there are no elephants in town," you say. He replies: "That's because I'm doing such a great job!"

Onto the next great big global crisis, I guess ...?

Actually, for the most part, the melting of the ice has exceeded the predictions of the scientific community.

Wow, you must be a scientist. Can I devote a website to talking up your credentials and exposing your truth about global warming?

The fact that the world has cooled over the past decade (including record lows in various spots in Australia) despite increased carbon output should perhaps give you pause to reconsider.

I know it's nice and dramatic to be one of the doomsday cultists who get it right, but you're going to look as foolish as the rest of them before long. Slink out of your bunker red-faced like the rest and make another prediction, we're waiting :)

Odd, for all the insistence that the world is now cooling, I have not seen a single temperature plot to show it is actually happening. You can pretend that an unusually hot year ten years ago is a trend, but only if you keep it vague.

You'll find the info via NASA. Happy hunting.

More ice than this time in 2007 you say? Fantastic!!!

How does it compare to this time in 2006? .... Oh .....
Oh well, how about 2005? Do we have more than in 2005? Ahhhh... I see...
2004? Ahuh..
2003? Oh dear..
2002? Say we have more than in 2002... Of course not.

So in decades of recorded history, only 2007 recorded less ice than today. Yeah, that's definitely evidence that the world is cooling.

You see Mattus, or level of response should go up and down with the temperature. We should only be thinking about it at midday in summer in unusually hot years. At any other time, you can say, well it was warmer six hours ago, or six months ago, or six years ago, therefor it is cooling.

That is why the ani-AGW nutcase conspiracy theorists don't actually plot the temperature. They pick and choose one or two points and draw a straight line between them.
