Meanwhile, back in a State of Corruption........

Post by Aussie » Tue Nov 13, 2012 4:01 pm

Queensland.

Where we have a Premier who prior to his Election, made it quite plain that public service jobs were safe and then having won, set about dramatically reducing them (real people with real families, with real mortgages............turfed) we now have a Minister who fabricates his official Diary to hide clandestine activity.

Prick.

Did you post the wrong link?
Too many words in your intro this time and lost your way?
QUEENSLAND Premier Campbell Newman says two ministerial officers were sacked because they failed to obey a directive, dismissing allegations a senior minister is unfit for office.
I mean most of the intro has to do with Newman sacking lots of unfortunate people... the article talks about 3 all up I think.

As for Flegg... it remains to be seen if the claims are correct or that they indeed support claims of corruption.

What else?
oh yes... wanna discuss the destruction of the Queensland economy by Andrew Fraser?

He did not say he would change legislation so that he could sack public servants. What he did say was was this.

You are never willing to stick to facts are you Naffy. Any bullshit rant will do for you.

Meanwhile, Minister Flegg is toast. That idiot tosser once led the LP as the alternate Premier.

Don't see it...
The size of the defeat means a lot of people will give them a great deal of time and leeway to fix things.

You don't see evidence of Ministerial corruption?

Not yet... but being politically biased and the site Omnipotent, I guess you are used to being judge jury and executioner before the fact eh.

I'd be waitin' for all the facts to come in first.

Not listing someone or something could be a simple matter of oversight not necessarily corruption.
Eg; The guy's son... it might not have even crossed his mind to list him since he sees him all the time on a family basis.

Oh look...
Premier Campbell Newman said not all contact between the father and son had to be registered.

"If the minister's son is ringing up to say, 'What time are you home tonight, Dad?' or 'Would you like to get a pizza?' ... then guess what? That doesn't have to be recorded," he told parliament.
It would seem the only thing Newman suffers from is commonsense.

As for Flegg... it'll take more than that article to find him guilty of corruption. However you care to define it.
