UN security council bid

Post by IQS.RLOW » Thu Oct 18, 2012 10:54 pm

If the ALP are successful, for the first time in their pathetic tenure to secure a temporary seat on the UN security council, this will end up costing Australians far, far more than the extravagant waste already doled out on buying their way onto it.

We can only hope that the UN recognises just how flawed this govt is and reject it because they know it will be repealed with a competent incoming Liberal govt very soon after.

The problem is that the UN is very much like the labor party. Completely useless, meaningless diatribe, expensive committees, failed policies and completely toothless but likes to extract the maximum amount from whoever they can, championed by idiots and infiltrated by lefty fucking idiots and ruled by dolts elevated through the ranks of lefty fucking idiots.

Fuck the 'temporary' security council bid, fuck labor and fuck leftists who are too willing to spend our money on useless fucking shit

"I think the motivations are quite clear. Although the Government is often reluctant to admit it at the risk of being seen as insincere, the motivations are to coddle favour and to essentially buy votes for our UN Security Council bid."

Since the bid began, aid for Africa, home to 53 votes, has trebled.

Funding for the Caribbean, home to 15 votes, has gone from zero to almost $50 million this year.
More labor taxpayer funded ego spending for sweet fuck all and will tie us to loopy fuckwit ideals such as the "UNHCR" and "Global warming IPCC"

Fuckwits

'temporary' security council bid.

Will this buy Australia a veto?

What is temporary....., i thought only the big nuke got a permanent seat so what is this seat at the table all about?

Sorry, I have not come across this in my readings.... being a POM (arrrggghhhh) and all.

Become a member of an exclusive club where the entry cost is tens if not hundreds of millions where you don't have any real input to do anything

This country is being run by fucking imbeciles who can't organize themselves, can't organize govt and is over run with thuggish fucking morons who are busy selling us out to other thuggish fucking morons

Can you imagine any other trillion dollar business run by incompetents like Swan and Gillard who's first point of call for anyone questioning their competence is
A) Attack the messenger
B) Whine about having a vagina
C) Appeal to the masses using a rich rock singer while crying about other rich people

Near on $300bn in debact the fact that Labor are actually in power now is testament to the stupidity of ~45% of Australia.

You lefty cuntards should be lined up and fucking shot with your heads on fucking sticks around the shoreline and in every fucking port and airport as an example of the type of retard that isn't wanted here

A business would demand a cost benefit analysis with a ROI calculated.

From what you are saying there is - no benefit and a negative return on investment. Business answer would be - "no fucking way... go away and do your home work."

There must be a political benefit or they would not be doing it..... or........

Australia is in.
Canberra's $25 million campaign for a seat at the world's top table paid off early today, when Australia raced ahead of Luxembourg and Finland in voting at UN headquarters to win membership of the UN Security Council.

Great achievement for a country so far from the corridors of world power

A triumphant Foreign Minister Bob Carr told reporters in the UN lobby: "It's always good to see Australia win - and this is a big, juicy, decisive win."

I thought he was saying it was a waste of money, last week?

No.....it was not last week. But there is no doubt that he always was welcoming of the bid.
