68 years ago D Day, Operation Overlord was starting.
Against a rational dictator (assuming you can have one of those) it would have failed. As it was, one of the American beaches nearly did fail.

Is there an official D Day ceremony in France or wherever? Maybe the governments involved will wait for the 70th anniversary.
