At the nuclear security summit in South Korea, President Obama confides to the outgoing Russian president but is caught by an open mic.

President Obama: “On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this, this can be solved but it’s important for him (Putin) to give me space.”
President Medvedev: “Yeah, I understand. I understand your message about space. Space for you…”
President Obama: “This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility.”
President Medvedev: “I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir.”

He could have been talking about anything - but it's easy to suspect the worst especially with the alleged "threat" from North Korea being spruiked by the media.

It could just be a controversial business deal for one of his multinational mates though. Obama obviously doesn't cherish the President's job but he has a family to comfortably provide for. Who would want his job?
