We won't be making any cuts to our emissions through a tax.

Too bad, so sad.

Rorschach, please don't repeat yourself. I am not contradicting what you said about Abbott supporting a tax because it is easy to repeal. I am merely pointing that it was not the only reason, and that some of the reasons Abbott gave for why a tax is the best option hinge on us making even deeper cuts to our emissions. Repeating yourself, as you have done, merely demonstrates your failure to comprehend this point.

If there is any repetition it is because I have had to reply to your inanities and because of your ignorance or dishonesty or both...

oh my that does sound repetitious doesn't it.

Don't waste my time.

I'm sure your time is extremely valuable.

In the past I haven't paid much attention to Abbott's stutterings, but he's made an error in his claims that a carbon tax will be easy to repeal especially since we've now signed up to an international carbon credit exchange. Instead of helping to lead the way - Abbott intends for Australia to regress to the backwater quarry Howard intended for us all along.

There might be a bit of whining about the tax from those who are whinging just for the sake of it, but generally people will feel insecure if the tax is removed simply because Abbott is telling the rest of the world that we don't give a stuff about pollution and those corporations who are embracing carbon exchange can go and get stuffed too.

He also boasts about removing the mining tax. This will complete the picture of a third world country. With self regulation and no penalties - the cowboy miners can tear into the remains of this once beautiful country, add to our deficit with their purchases and leave the soil toxic and depleted and the more pollution the better.

Talk about backward thinking. It's hard to believe anyone could vote for this donkey.

Generally people will feel secure when Abbott removes the carbon tax because it shouldn't have been introduced in the first place. It was foisted on the majority by a minority who twisted the arm of the corrupt ALP so they could gain power...and look where that got us.

It will be gone. Erased. Kaput. Fucked off...and normal Australians will celebrate because they know it is a useless tax that does SFA.

Thoughtful response as usual. Put me on ignore - I'd appreciate it.

If the carbon tax goes - what's Abbott going to replace it with? A mining tax?

I'll just ignore or highlight your personal shit mantra and correct your other shit.

CT? Why would he need to replace it?

If you repeal something you don't normally replace it.
